Granny Square Sweater posted on A Beautiful Mess
Saw this awesome looking granny-sweater today, styled fantastically by Elise over at a beautiful mess. This one's a hand me down, but the colours are fantastical, definitely something I might want to make for my own one day.
Thought I'd poke around for others similar to it, came across a few, but none quite like hers.
This one's a pattern on Ravelry, sooo retro looking, also too much of a house coat.
This is a Ravelry pattern too, the colours are right, but I'd rather bigger squares.
Found this one for sale on etsy, at Samlovesvintage, very neat as well.
That's all I have to say about that for now, will eventually prolly try to make one of these all for my own, in the mean time please do check out A Beautiful Mess, love that blog, and wish the Red Velvet shop was somewhere nearby.

New Shoes
Aren't they pretty? Evroange by Aldo
The photo doesn't give a real understanding of the scale of the massive, wonderful shoes. Shoes that make me a whole 5-1/2 inches taller.
It's a shame aldo doesn't do half sizes, had to get an 8, which means spending many nights wearing them in the house before they'll fit me. in a non-painful way.
Now I just need to start planning outfits around these bad boys, and hope the leather smell dies down a tiny bit.
Cheers!
